BOOK A SESSION

Getting Started

Your first session begins with a conversation — I want to understand your health history, what you are currently experiencing, and what you are hoping to achieve. I will also conduct a posture and gateway assessment, which helps me identify where tension and stress are being held in your body and how your nervous system is currently responding. From there, we move into the hands-on portion of the session, which is gentle, fully clothed, and deeply restorative. Many clients describe a profound sense of calm and release. Afterward, we discuss what came up and what to expect as your body begins to integrate the work.

I work with anyone who is looking for optimal health and to heal pain or discomfort. My approach is gentle enough for every stage of life — I welcome babies, children, pregnant mothers, the elderly, and everyone in between. If you are seeking to feel better in your body and mind, you are in the right place.

Spinal Flow is done face down on a massage table, fully clothed. Since the majority of your access points are on the sacrum, wearing pants that are loose around the hips is very helpful. Feel free to wear comfy clothes including socks if desired. Please avoid jeans, belts, or tight yoga pants if possible. Loose and comfy should be the goal.

No special preparation is required. Simply arrive wearing comfortable clothing, hydrate well beforehand, and come with an open mind. It can be helpful to take a few quiet moments before your session to set an intention for what you would like to release or receive.

The Techniques

No. While both work with the spine, Spinal Flow Technique is fundamentally different from chiropractic. There is no manipulation, cracking, or forceful adjustment. Spinal Flow uses the lightest of touches at specific access points along the spine to invite the nervous system to release stored tension and trauma. It is extremely gentle and works with the body rather than on it.

NMT is an advanced healing system that works with the body's information network — the nervous system — to identify and correct faulty signals that are keeping the body in a state of dysfunction. Using a precise protocol, NMT communicates directly with the autonomic nervous system to locate the root cause of symptoms and facilitate a correction. It is non-invasive, gentle, and remarkably effective for complex and chronic conditions.

Experiences vary from person to person. Some clients feel warmth, tingling, gentle movement through the spine, or waves of deep relaxation. Others simply feel a quiet stillness and peace. Some notice emotional releases — tears, laughter, or a sense of something lifting. All of these are normal and welcome signs that the nervous system is processing and releasing.

Both Spinal Flow Technique and NMT are extremely gentle and non-invasive, making them safe for people of all ages — including children, the elderly, and those with serious health conditions. If you have specific concerns about your health situation, please reach out before booking and we can discuss whether these modalities are appropriate for you.

Sessions & Scheduling

For your initial visit, please plan for 50 minutes. — this includes your posture and gateway assessment, consultation, and hands-on session. All follow-up appointments are approximately 25 minutes. During Spinal Flow sessions you will be on the table for around 20 to 25 minutes.

This varies greatly depending on the individual, the nature of what you are working with, and how your body responds. Typically I recommend 2 to 3 times a week for the first 6 weeks, and then we do a follow-up assessment to see what is needed at that point. I will always be honest with you about what I observe and recommend a care plan that truly serves your healing.

I have the capability to work on more than one client at a time. This is a benefit to all involved — the energy that is created in a room where more than one person is experiencing healing is significant and powerful. Unless there is a reason not to book the group this is my recommend booking for your follow ups.

Sessions are available in person only.

General Wellness

Absolutely. The nervous system is the bridge between the mind and the body, and both Spinal Flow and NMT work directly with it. Stored emotional stress, trauma, anxiety, and mental fatigue all have a physical signature in the nervous system and the spine. By releasing these patterns at the root level, many clients experience profound improvements in their emotional and mental wellbeing alongside their physical symptoms.

These modalities work beautifully alongside conventional medicine and other therapeutic approaches. I always encourage clients to continue working with their existing healthcare providers. Spinal Flow and NMT are complementary — they support and enhance the body's healing process without interfering with other treatments.
